Pretty easy idea
I think that the main thrust of many of these ideas is to increase red<->blue cross-server engagement by somehow engineering pvp between red players and blue players that are willing to give it a try.
How about once a month there's a vote on each server to select a champion from a specific class. The gms create a temporary account and clone the blue player's character to it, except on red instead of blue. Pick a couple trustworthy people to act as witnesses and stream it on twitch or whatever so people can watch, and otherwise clear the zone of any other players that may interfere, and then have them fight 1v1, best out of 5 matches. The winner wins a +5% modification to the experience bonus for their server which lasts a week, giving all the watchers a vested interest in the outcome and increasing engagement. After a year of this, there'll be 12 champions (or maybe a little longer if any of them subsequently quit playing) - once there's 12, put them all together in a zone and have a best of the best grand-melee, with the winner receiving a nice item (guise of the deceiver, elder beads, something like that) and a title to commemorate their ultimate victory, and BOTH servers get a 5% exp bonus for a week to celebrate.
Or whatever - if we keep brainstorming, we'll surely come up with SOMETHING everybody likes.
