Anyone been watching The Deuce? It's by the same guy that made The Wire, has a ton of The Wire actors in it like Frank (not sure what his real name is). So far the focus seems to be prostitution in the 70's. First episode wasn't that good but seems like it's getting a lot better the last few episodes. It's not The Wire, but pretty good for 2017 TV.

Yeah the two shows that were said to have revolutionized the idea of a "premium TV series" or what a TV serial could be was the Sopranos and The Wire.
The Deuce is exactly about prostitution and NY hustle. Its ok, but its a character show. Its not about plot so much as its about capturing the 1970's New York when prostitution was raging.
