Kallimah, a young Dark Elf warrior, sets off on a quest for a special shield - a quest which takes her through the Nektulos Woods, East Commons, the Northern Desert of Ro, Oasis, and other exotic locales, encountering a variety of colorful friends and foes along the way. Her cause is taken up by a motley assortment of allies willing to use steel or sorcery to help her out. But as with any quest, Kallimah finds the journey is perilous, and achieving the goal is never quite the end of things.
