It was my fault. I didn't watch the hour long video on genetics and just assumed it was another racist legitimate-looking genetic theory. They are all over.
But yes. We find that alcoholism for example, doesn't manifest for everyone but only those with certain genes. But not everyone with those genes develops alcoholism -- only those with environmental problems as well.
