The elven lass was heart-crushed when you left for Qeynos and she did indeed found relief in Kelethin in the arms of a blond High Elf Pally doing service killing Orcs in GF. However, he spent too much time wasting his money on drinks in the taverns. So one night, as the lass was taking her Elf back to their hut in the trees, the drunk Pally swung her down the platform to the ground. She was badly hurt. And though he had plats to get Cleric's help to heal her, she couldn't recover from her wounds. But it's not the body that was hurt but her heart.
So, one day, she went on a journey to get to Erudin to seek advice from the wise. A long a tiring journey thru Faydwer and a long boat trip, so tiresome that she had to stop in Freeport to rest...
