Dartain is in the crypt of the Undead Tower in the Hole. As someone mentions he can wield a shield, so will quad you like crazy. I'd suggest before the main fight to disarm him until successful and flop to heal up.
Maybe use double tash sticks to get a proc off ahead of time, he is highly MR, so your root proc off Fist of Nature may not land (it may not even land with tash, who knows). Shamans have told me he can't be slowed, but never validated really.
Good news is he will run at 20% (He is social agro with the undead that are above him, so you'll need to flop to get him to run). He is a 36hr spawn, not hard for a monk to reach really after dropping into the pit from paineel (be sure to bring an IVU pot to get into crypt, much easier).
He is located behind a locked door in the crypt (a boulder), but no matter, he agros through it and charges you. There is a fallen erudite directly outside his door, then 2 more exiting the crypt area, and 1 to the back of the crypt. 21:30 respawn time on those.
I don't remember if he harm touches, but even though he looks like he is living, he is actually an undead mob and undead spells land on him (not sure if any clickies would be helpful for that?).
Anyways, hits like a truck and has something like 16k HP. Would be impressed if you can take him out without charming / complete heal!
