Not even a partially accurate post.

Project 99 is a registered non-profit organization. It adheres to Massachusetts non-profit regulations. There are no profits.

Yes. State law (which governs your nonprofit incorporation) and the IRS (which regulates your tax-exempt status) allow a nonprofit to pay reasonable salaries to officers, employees, or agents for services rendered to further the nonprofit corporation's tax-exempt purposes. Indeed, most nonprofits have staff.
Rogean can pay himself or employees a reasonable salary for furthering the non-profit agenda, but trust me, its nothing worth writing home about and its very restricted. Non-profit status isn't a big joke.

That aside, people simply do not donate to this project as much as everyone thinks.

I calculated what p99 would cost in development money against the volunteers here (industry rate) and none of these guys would get anything except a cheeseburger compared to the time they actually put into this project. That's why they are called volunteers. You could double the donations and it still wouldn't break even.

If this were an actual for-profit business, hypothetically, p99 bled money like crazy to the point it would have been shut down many years ago. p99 is "red". Deep red.
