Yeah but if you think about it... he either spent a ton of time farming green mobs for $$ to buy it, or farming the actual mob that drops it... so much time that its probably enough for you to level from 1 - 60 in that time.
So in the end of the day the equation balances out. All the advantage he is getting now he paid for earlier
