As for plat efficiency, I've been able to get 600p/hr when contested, probably if not contested could ramp that up to 750p/hr. It's not bad plat.

So wait, what? Basically you're saying that you only gain a 25% bonus to your platinum rate when the hill is contested vs all yours?... You are either the god of FTE which I doubt since you said you didn't know to use a fast casting spell. Very doubtful...
