I also used the pads a few times with charmed pets and had various results - sometimes they would gently follow through, sometimes they would path all the way back (maybe through the trap to the basement then the pad?) and bring a fun train full of assrape.

I can't count how many times I had a dotted sperm or a goo in the basement that broke root at low hp and started fleeing through the central pad, sometimes warping up and aggroing stuff up there, sometimes just passing through the pad like it's nothing.
When are these memories from? Admittedly I never used to spent much time near the pads, but why would the west boss follow you through the pad when he could summon you back instead? ESPECIALLY if you're remembering back before they changed summoning (summons used to fire immediately when you weren't in melee range and summon timer was up; now summons do not fire unless summon timer is up AND you're not near the mob AND his melee attacks are ready to swing).

Regardless, you're only discussing pads that teleport within the zone. The real issue I was bringing up was that the east teleporter pad takes you out to overthere, but that an NPC still triggered it... only to warp to a place that the pad is not supposed to send you.
