There is a difference between not getting something because you don't want it and millions of people forcing you to be strapped to a chair and injected with some unknown material that cannot be adequately proven or trusted as to it's contents, purpose, or unintended consequences.

The thing is, they lie and by the time you find out about it, you are already in the middle of an invasion while your cousin is declaring himself king in your stead and preparing for your return.

Sooner or later you end up in a forest stealing taxes back and fighting for the people who inevitably thank you and commence to strapping you into another chair and forcefully injecting you with another substance that seems to alleviate the Intended Consequences.
