if it's the quest I'm thinking of it was bugged on live for a long time too. So unless a dev here actually custom fixed it... Besides the info from Allakhazam, the High Guard Battlestaff doesn't even show up in the Lucy database so that leads me to believe very few people ever actually got it, or it was straight up removed from the game before Lucy started keeping track.

It shows an 8.75% chance of Tallus dropping staff segment B. I have been unable to find
ANYTHING else about this item anywhere so I'm guessing both parts were intended top drop from the same mob which is whack.
