repeat until results.

Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes tops. And if you're at a ring or wizard spire you can usually get picked up in even less time.

I only use dap if I'm in a rush. AND it usually takes a fking age and half so I've stopped using dap. Not sure why it takes someone so long to port,. accept plat,. port, repeat.
And if they're going to run a mile to someone they should go Anon so other people don't spam them waiting for a port that's going to take 20 minutes.
I'm not ranting, This is just my personal experience. *shrugs*
That's a rant but it's ok.

Fact is they often have lots of tells and people waiting for ports, sometimes people send tells and are not clear in what they want, where they going etc., so there's lots of factors involved with why someone porting for plats isn't always instantly able to come straight to you for your port or able to instantly begin explaining the entire situation as to why they are being slow to get you.

There are times when the porter is also not on top of their job (it's their job, after all they are getting paid for their porting service.) Not all porters are fast typers, not all are organized, and some lose track of tells etc. It's all human factors that contributes to slow porting and it's not all the porter's fault nor is it always the customers fault either.

These kind of rants only show a lack of empathy and understanding of the entire porting situation. I recommend for someone that doesn't understand it, or gets highly frustrated as baler does with the porting situation to make a porter and join DAP and then you can see for yourself how it goes.
