Thanks so much for the server, just got on today for the first time
Haven't played in years, was overexcited to see project1999 comments at Youtube and I had to see for myself. Finally got everything set up and created a player to look around, now spending the day to decide what race/class to play.
Some questions with likely obvious answers:
Clerics can't really solo in classic EQ right? I never played one, but doing damage was something they could not do much of when it was 1999 so I'm assuming they are forced to group? I like to group but most of the time I have about 20-30 min to play and that just isnt feasible. Would I be living a pipe dream to think I could solo 3/4 of my time to level 50?
We can duel? If so, can Enchanters use Charm on players like they could in 1999?
Is it against the rules to pay real money for items in game from either the folk here or players in game? Only asking. I'll check FAQ again but didn't see anything about this initially.
