From max kos to max ally you need roughly 3-4k kills.
With mage epic pet I did maybe 100-150 kills per hour. Donno how you define 8 good hours but you might want to re-think your estimate

Your estimate however, might fit from max kos to dub, if you are able to kill like an epic mage pet or better non stop.
