Here's the thing: it never actually required small business to cover people. In theory -- these pretty bourgeois pro-capitalist small business useful idiots -- were willing to pay to cover their employee healthcare. Yea it was big talk then when the scary socialist alternative was the 800 pound gorilla in the room. Oh no..the Dems might want an public
option! -- THAT'S COMMUNISM!!. It's easy to forget that's how the debate was framed.
But when it came time to pay up, they had the stunning realization that healthcare was fucking expensive and they couldn't afford to give it to their employees. Individual workers can't afford to buy it often -- even with the Obamacare co-ops. It's not fucking working and it's complete due to the reactionary political line of the Republican coalition.
Obama felt like that's the best he could do. I fell like he is a bourgeois cop out who could have pushed a socialist agenda...but he was timid and bought out -- completely corrupted and insincere from the start. But that doesn't make half the shit Republicans say about Obamacare true.
This "Communist on a 19 yr old elf sim", believes small business shouldn't have to pay for fucking health insurance. Because that's not their responsibility. We should give people access to one national non-profit or government ran health insurance. They cover catastrophe and give a set amount toward regular healthcare. They then go to the private market and find Drs, that will do it for the government insurance rate -- or the client can pay a little extra of the DR feels like they can charge more (because of their skill/quality of office etc.). Cut way down on bureaucracy. Get rid of the middle man inflating health insurance costs, America overall would spend way less.
Your fucking team wants to continue with the charade of government-managed private health insurance. Big middlemen, big bureaucracy dealing with all the claims and health codes.They are absolutely committed (like most Democrats) to preserving the blood sucking private insurance elite.
