Yeah the point was more how we're willing to assume the worst of people we don't like than it was about money, but I completely agree, the Koch brothers would have been better.

Like I said I really don't know much about Soros, but campaign finance reform is an issue I feel passionately about. And it's not in any way a partisan issue: both sides are awash in special interest (largely corporate) money, and it's ruining our country/democracy.
But then right after your well-reasoned and thoughtful response we get Daywolf and his paranoid schizophrenic fantasy reality ... /sigh
