Your argument is not valid because what happens here is not what happened on live. I'm not suggesting people are handed items without working for it. In classic EQ people formed raids and cleared the zone to get epic (and other) items in Hate (and other places). That's all I'm suggesting. Make changes that result in people having to do what was actually intended (clear/raid the zone) instead of allowing a few neckbeards to dominate everything by locking down the timers of the desirable mobs. What you are defending is some shitty P99 bastardization that only benefits MQ'ers and loot hoarders.
I can turn your argument around and say they should randomize timers and spawn locations and if you aren't willing to clear through the mobs to get a shot at your epic mob (or whatever) to spawn then maybe you don't deserve your epic (or whatever).
