Your argument is not valid because what happens here is not what happened on live. I'm not suggesting people are handed items without working for it. In classic EQ people formed raids and cleared the zone to get epic (and other) items in Hate (and other places). That's all I'm suggesting. Make changes that result in people having to do what was actually intended (clear/raid the zone) instead of allowing a few neckbeards to dominate everything by locking down the timers of the desirable mobs. What you are defending is some shitty P99 bastardization that only benefits MQ'ers and loot hoarders.
I can turn your argument around and say they should randomize timers and spawn locations and if you aren't willing to clear through the mobs to get a shot at your epic mob (or whatever) to spawn then maybe you don't deserve your epic (or whatever).

You form a raid and clear the zone if the mob you are after is up, not on the hope that maybe they will spawn midway through your clear. Not to mention that the fact you are clearing a zone doesn't mean you should get rare spawns automatically. And yes on live people who were willing to put in more time than others got their epics while they were still relevant rather than 2 expansions later. Its called an epic for a reason, this server is already way over how many epics were ever on a live server even remotely close to era, and now you're bitching because you want more. If you already have your epic and it doesn't concern you then why are you complaining? are you upset that others are making plat and you're not? are you upset that no one wants to invite you to their farm groups? perhaps you just need to stop being a bitch, make some friends, and actually play the game
You seem to refer to everyone with more play time than you as a neckbeard. Perhaps your personal opinion does matter in the slightest as your singular experience is irrelevant.
You keep using this "clear through mobs" which just reinforces how little you actually comprehend the game. random spawns would just mean one of those people with more time than you will just check a tracker. When the mini pops they will then log in, pull it to their camp and kill it. They will do all of this while people like you don't even know that the mini spawned, or they discover it spawned and are still trying to get people together to go up and "clear the zone" while it dies. Your idea wont change anything in regards to players such as yourself getting anything.
I dont think you even tried live in era with the crap you're claiming. I know on xev there were single groups that camped shit like zlandi, PoH minis, and even doze so that they had a monopoly on it. Just because you never played in era or never dealt with it doesn't mean it didn't happen, another example of your opinion falling short of relevance.
