I personally don't forsee any major problems with Dagnor's Cauldron 2.0.
Derubael wasn't half the man that Cylock is. As long as the rules are clearly stated in advance (and assuming Sirken is somewhat participating) I don't see Dagnor's 1.0 happening again.
