At 8 farm the snot out of Blackburrow or Crushbone. Gnoll teeth or CB belts will take you to 12 or 13.
WK bandit sashes to 15 or 16.
Then hit Highpass for a group. Gnolls = PGT. Orcs = Shralok pack.
You should have the cash by now to buy a combine weapon from the NK gypsies. Congrats, dual magic weapons.
Farm wisps for lightstones and buy banded if you haven't already. If you have a guild jewelcrafter buy or trade for +hp/ac rings.
Join a HHK group in your 20s and ride it to 30+.
