Good afternoon folks,
I am just getting into playing EQ again and I have a question. I remember that it was much harder to level than any of the current MMOs out there but it seems much more difficult than I remember. I got from level 1 to level 2 in a resonable amount of time; however I am having a rough time getting from level 2 to level 3. So far I have killed approx 35-40 mobs and have only gained about 40% exp. Is this the way it was in Vanilla? 100+ mobs to get from level 2 to level 3 seems higher than I remember. Then again I have not played in many many years.

I am mainly sticking to decaying skeletons and gnoll pups in Qeynos so most are blue to me right now. Anyways I will leave it at that. I am sorry for wasting your time if this is the way it was.
