I could've not voted. In Texas, it didn't matter. My #1 issue is the professor who was sent to the ER by liberal protestors. Your condescension and hatred of people who disagree with you reminds me of being a Baha'i growing up in Iran. I'm terrified of liberals. You're hiveminded dummies who are already becoming violent based on politics. I care about the environment as well but the "white privilege" this and "everyone who disagrees with me is a racist" mentality is more important IMO. All the things that made America better than Iran are fading away due to the current left of center political climate. I get hating candidates, but y'all hate everyone who votes for them. My wife and family voted Hillary. Oddly enough, my father voted for trump. Anyway, I don't believe you could get along with a republican. I don't believe 95% of democrats could. Simply put, you guys strike me as fascists in the style of Iranian islamists and until y'all stop protesting, demonizing, and violently assaulting those who disagree with you I'm pretty much done with the democrats. Y'all need Bill Clinton back badly
Most Republicans have jobs, houses, and families, or live in rural areas where it's difficult to rabble rouse. What are you going to burn down a McDonalds - your town's only fine dining establishment? I don't think I need to explain to you why violence and rowdy protests would be more of a problem with liberals who tend to be younger and more urban. But that's identity politics and it's dumb. I don't identify with them any more than you identify with Alex Jones. And compartmentalization is a problem for both sides of the political spectrum.

You're seeing a partisan judgment where there isn't one. Hate? Nah. It's really as simple as this: I believe all people have the government they deserve. And I have outright contempt for the people who made this government possible, and that applies equally to Trump's base as it does to the liberal elements who stole the primary from Bernie (Mainly lower-income urban and southern Democrats along with political and social elites). GOP apologists like to explain Trump as an act of desperation-- disillusioned blue collar workers from economically devastated communities looking for an outsider to save them from a political system that left them to die. No, the election was actually decided by middle class white women in Pennsylvania and Michigan who defied all expectations and went Trump for reasons I can't comprehend.

And I get along with Republicans just fine. Real life is a lot different than elfsim forums, most of my family is Republican (but not Trump supporters), and as I've made abundantly clear, I only really align liberal on economic issues and social ethics/morals (environment, civic duty, metaethics). Not the multicultural globalists and perpetual outrage machine.

There's also definitely a racism problem in Trump's camp. Behind all the liberal hyperbole and race-baiting, racism actually does exist, you know that right? Do you remember the shit that got chanted at his rallies? You think it's any coincidence that all the Trump supporters on this forum keep getting banned for primate metaphors?
