if you can't see how a hate-speech law, or any regulation on freedom of speech, can be used to silence opposition you're too far gone.

this is why the US has been hesitant to create anti-speech laws, because they are quickly misappropriated and benefit one cause over another. Its regulation of ideas ultimately.
