Killed him another 9 or so times this morning. Nothing but opals so far. I may just be very unlucky.

Edit: Is there perhaps two versions of his spawn? One that spawns lots and drops nothing and one that spawns rarely and drops the Treeweave? I've seen him up in multiples of two.
