I was getting closer to findin Mayong Mistmoore....but I knew if I was ever gonnas have a chance against him, I was going to need more help and more power. My sister Prixie was still out there somewhere, but even with her help....we would need more.
Luckily I still had Niniks and my plan to fulfill the great gnomish prophecy and create the legendary gnomish paladin with tinkering!! If we could finish that, it would be a so strong weapon against a vrampire! Everyone knows they is weak against paladins!!
So, it was back to hunting for the rarest parts used in such an amazin machine!! It was back to the weird weird world of velious!

Anyhow! When I got there, first step was gettin some living granite for the granite chiperator! Is a very important part Ninik tells me! Only way for it to last is to be livin, then it can regrow!
Problem is rock monsters don't have pockets...so I wasn't going to have a chance of "findin" one like that.
Luckily when I got to the caves I met an ogre! When you need somethin killed, ogres are your best bet!!

"We" fought many of the geonids looking a couple good pieces of granite. Sure the ogre did some of it....but I watched to make sure we didn't get ambushed by giants!! Probably the most important job!!!
The ogre was pretty brave though! At the end, the geonids caught onto us and sent an army to stop us!! But the ogre was able to defeat them all!!! And, amongst the rubble, I found what I needed....success!!

Next I had to find some tar, for stickins stuff together. Sticky stuff is very important in tinkerin!!
Even more lucky is I found a couple globs from a giant halfling just sittin around in the caves!

But I still had quite a list left....and next I needed to find some sifaye dust. For the goggle-dusters, of course. Not many people know this, but if you mix sifaye dust into glass, it makes so so fancy see invisible goggles!
The problem is, no one fights sifayes! Which is understandable, they is pretty pretty.
It was time for sneaky gnome hands to go to work! I went everywhere in the forest....finding all the sifayes I could and rummaging in their pockets. But, even after finding piles of wings and other parts....I hadn't found any dust!!
But, eventually I got word from great tinkerer Ninik that she had an old helmet we could use with Sifaye glass already made!!!

Next up I needed some holgresh wings for a flapperator (for keepins things cooled down) and some fur for a static-rub-atron (an amazin source of power).
"Why not just use bat wings or something" you may be thinking....but OBVIOUSLY that doesn't have the right flapinating ratio! Ha ha ha, a bat wing? You want it to blow up?!!

This was a pretty dangerous job though....I knew where the holgreshes lived....but...it would be one of the most dangerous sneak jobs ever...
Slowly I crawled through the caves to their livin area....and one by one I began pickins their pockets. You can't stay hiding while picking a pocket by the way!! It is maximum dangerous!!!
But, even after picking the pockets of all but a couple....and a bunch of ones walkin around outside....I wasn't able to find any fur OR wings!!!
It was time to bring in the big weapons!!
The next day I met another adventurer willin to teach the holgresh a lesson...and together we killed the entire cave! A couple times!!
Most of the wings weren't good enough, but eventually we found a couple pairs!! And fur!!! And I even found some so so fancy beads from their king!

Now I had most the parts great tinkerer Ninik needed....just....needed to find a faun hoof next.

I'd heard they are dangerous....perhaps the most dangerous thing in the entire wakening lands, except for dragons!!!
While I tried to figure out how to get their hoofs, I sent the pieces I had collected to Ninik to begin workin. There was no time to lose!
