That's a bad idea and the part of progressive affirmative action that I don't agree with.
You can't fix the south with liberal shenanigans like that. It won't save anyone or anything because we can't make people get along or treat other people fairly. Or do their part.
The best we can do is ensure that someone has a fair chance with education, employment, and criminal justice regardless of who or what they are or have in common / difference.
Ppl should be fired / hired based on merits and work ethic. Not ethnicity, religion, or what's on their bedsheets. Or which waifu they are married to.
The government shouldn't elevate one group over another. Or allow our collective efforts to be exploited by any group or in support of any specific ideological point of view.
Enforcing intelligent behavior can be wasteful though
