Did somebody claim that EQ pvp was difficult at some point? The pvp mechanics have...nothing... ZERO to do with the everquest PVP experience, the "fun" came from engaging a dragon and a guild clearing down to you not knowing if you'll kill it on time, if you want your pvp mechanics to be spot on then you can go and play.. oh, wait, no you can't, pvp isn't balanced in mmorpg.
WoW PVP = Gear up, gear up, smash keyboard, 2k rating, afk. Battleground, no consequence, just, utter shit.
EQ PVP has consequence, people don't want to die, or go on a corpse run, when the rules permitted corpse camping it's fun running into lower guk and getting your corpse out from underneath 6 people trying to kill you. The plat loot is minimal ofcourse, the game of chess deciding when to attack or seeing another guilds actions so you can counter them, gain an advantage fighting in a certain place with classes you have available... I don't get what person wouldn't find that fun,
Blue wow = Nail rotation, heal dying people, full heroic progress, afk.
Blue eq = Smash keyboard, stand here, heal people.
Stop the bullshit, the game isn't hard to play, making people suffer because you just murdered them in the bottom of guk and took that fbss they were camping for 4 hours, rolling in behind a guild and taking their dragon and killing them all, fun.
Box legend status means you managed to punch your keyboard and type "lol owned" in ooc. Who gives a shit, these people have fun doing it, i have fun doing it - i'm pretty sure we're here because we are hugging rogeans nuts so we can murder eachother and QQ about epic trains.
You guys called it, we're a bunch of dicks that want to kill eachother in everquest, deal with it.
