The original Planetside was a masterpiece...the fact that you could have 100 players in an area all shooting each other and only be lagging slightly ON DIAL UP? I dont know how they did it, but they did it.

Yes Planetside 1 even after the ....expansion was released with the robots or whatever was awesome. OP, but awesome. Then after 1 month or so they screwed it ALL up.
I had DSL and I had a dual core CPU and took advantage of it until they fixed 'their' stupid coding issue. Not my fault my CPU made me run as fast as a mosquito and made my mosquito fly 2x fast.

I wish there was a Original Planetside EMU out there that's worthwhile. I'd play it. I heard about one a while back but I read that it pretty much failed or was failing.
