It seems like what the raid scene really needs is 2-3 totally new raid rulesets every year. This will give the illusion that things are fresh and the hardcore navy seal type EQ players will have to spend 20+ hrs honing their skills of exploitation so they can properly enjoy the p99 classic everquest environment.
So basically, if we have spent half the year racing for FTE's, now the other half of the year is pure DPS race. 4-6 months from now all raid guilds have /teams enabled. 6 months after that we go back to FTE race.
