It's obviously as much a promotion for his twitch stream as it is a giveaway. Still cool to get a chance at free stuff, but, it's not purely altruistic. There is self interest at work as well. Self interest veiled as charity is often very problematic in the real world. Seems ok in this instance though. Dude wants some twitch followers for fun times and a hobby.
