You have to click on it more than a few times, brah...3 successful "ticks" (meaning if you spam clicks, it only actually registers on the EQ object once per certain amount of time) of the lift will *always* make it move. Same thing with Kelethin.

Every single time.

And yeah, it does suck that people kill both exiting guards. I personally always leave at least one of those guys around for the newbies and always offer to give lift rides if someone has killed both. Sucks to not be able to leave your friggin city because some guy wants an extra 8pp every 26 minutes.
