My thoughts on the issue. Women like money. IT professional geeks (high functioning autism spectrum) have money. There's a staggeringly high incidence of autism in Silicon Valley. Therefore, our species is selectively breeding the trait because of our fucked up capitalist society values money over good genetic traits.
