To be fair when some of us joined the server the population was around 200 during peak times. "Zerg forces" a year ago was when you had 28 people show up for a raid. So, while I knew what I was getting in to back then is not the same as what we have now.

So your solution would be? Cap population at 200 and never let anyone else play until you have every slot filled with top gear? Have Rogean set respawn timer on gods/dragons to 1 hour? Not sure what you are pining for. You can always play solitaire. No competition, total predictability: you can leave anytime you like and come back when you want to.
I played this game when there were maybe 3 guilds on a server that could do top end content, and it was a blast racing to said content when it spawned. Been there.. done that. Really don't give a damn what it looks like on this server, but I understand some people do, and they have my sympathies.
