Speaking of Ron Paul, back when he was running there were articles about how Ron Paul was a racist...lol. He's basically like Bernie Sanders except at opposite ends of the free trade spectrum and more articulate. When you try to label every opposition candidate as racist, bigot, etc., you're trying to tell the American public they only have 1 choice (essentially no choice.) Guess what, people got sick of it. So much so that they elected someone who has lots of conflicts of interest being president, isn't exactly "diplomatic," and who has said a lot of dumb shit. Instead of explaining how good Hillary's policies would be, how great she'd be for this country etc., they tried to tout the same old shit about how anyone who doesn't have (D) in front of their name on the ballot is racist (except maybe Jill Stein, she's just a wacko right!) People like having choices, even if they make really bad decisions.

Just let them keep doing it. They will never win another election using this tired thought-policing "everyone's a racist" fearmongering. Normal americans see through it and that is why someone as flawed as Trump still obliterated their candidate that should have been a shoo in. They are stuck in their media bubble.
