Spell files out of date
Hi everyone.
Brand new install on Linux, running through wine. Running 64-bit Arch 4.8.4-1. Finally got EQ to boot up, to much exultation. Unfortunately, the character select screen is as far as I get. Says my spell files are out of date and tells me to make sure I have the newest patch. I have double and triple checked, even extracted the .zip as root to make sure everything was being overwritten as necessary and I still can't log in. I realize that being a Linux user is probably going to complicate this, but any input would be awesome. Been battling this for a few hours now and I don't want to throw in the towel. Did I let it patch somehow by mistake?

PS my sound doesn't work either, but that's a secondary concern right now.
