I've watched it with him to see what it was all about. It's actually not very gender specific like the old one. Also I'm not going to be one of those parents who take charge of what my son likes or doesn't like (unless its something dangerous, duh) When my friend was a little girl her mom wouldnt let her play most video games because "they were made for boys." She wasn't even allowed to play contra or have any gi joes. In fact she wasnt allowed to watch transformers or gi joe.
