Well if they're definitely coming out with a new server I might take a break from the game a while. There is no real reason to play on this one if I'm starting a new character anyway. They won't be wiping this one and not everyone would go to the new one ^^ no reason to decline to have fun because a new server might be coming out. Nobody thought it would take 5 years for velious to come out. New server may not come out until 2020, or not at all! ^^
