this is a BIG reason people dont like to play on emulated servers
knowing there chars they invest alot of time in can me gone when ever the devs/GMs feel like it or dont like somthing you say
you want new players to join you want your server to be a sucsess and with that comes many many people with diffrent opinoins who will voice them
if someone takes it to far on the forums a warning or 24/48 hour ban to cool off would be alot better

and who are you to know how harsh punishments are? i can assure you that people are not just randomly banned, or their characters deleted ...
only very few people get banned, most only get suspended for their offenses ... you have to do something realy bad to get banned like cheating your ass off ... and tbh, if someone cheated, they knew what they were doing, thus they have to accept the consequences ...
