I will say that it probably isn't healthy for developing social skills. Also, it could be a dopamine destroyer.

DOTA 2/LoL etc are more of a dopamine destroyer than something like EQ, however it depends on how you interpret the theory of dopamine destruction. EQ could damage normal dopamine function by slowing down interactions and dopamine hits to an unnatural state.

Most EQ players will readily admit they are not a big fan of high APM games. (many have admitted this here). Is that BECAUSE of EQ?? Or is it a genetic predisposition?
I don't know. I can say though those people who played Tetris always baffled me...
