Currently right now the rage/frenzy line is bugged. I reported this on the server, going to do it now in the bug forum.
Basically, it drains ~100mana per tick, or something ridiculous, which is working as intended. However when you hit zero mana, the buff should persist, but right now it does not. Essentially the buff (the way it is supposed to work) is for regenning HP and tanking when out of mana. However, it fades as soon as you are OOM. Which is not how it was years ago.
Yes, casting it after rezzes too is awesome. However I am noticing now that STR buffs of any kind seem not to be working if rez effects are up. Not sure if this is actually a bug or not. But not even my lvl 49 Strength spell is working after a rez.
