No factions or classes, open world pvp and item loot.
I have been playing red almost solely since a few months before my join date, march 2012. Nothing else even came close to scratching that itch. Until this server.
There's just something about it bros, I highly recommend trying it out. I haven't even logged on red since I found this server.
Here are a few short stories about my experience on the server so far, I'm lvl 28.
Was out herbing across the river on the durotar and barrens border near org. I noticed a guy across the river farming crocs for one of the random quests, I've done it a few times but usually skip because the drop rate has sucked every time I did it. I click on him just to see and it happens to be a guy that talked shit to me in world chat. I keep herbing for about 10 mins while he farms. Stealth up and go make the kill, I get to loot his weapon, bp, legs, back, boots, gloves and the quest item. He's sending rage tells as I stroll up to the quest giver and turn in the items he farmed for free exp.
Did the same thing a number of times since to different people, some guy I killed strolling into camp T dropped 60 quilboar tusks just as I was about to go do the quest, took me less than 1 min to complete. =D
Around level 20 I noticed a guy who is always doin dungeon grps and seems to be a bitch with loot, never ran with him but I see him in global chat all the time, hes always trying to justify taking a item for himself because he made the grp. This playstyle allowed him to be rollin in full blues while most of us are in lvl 5 cheap greens or vendor whites, sometimes even gray gear. I saw him in an inn and inspected, was impressed with what he had so I stealthed out and waitied. Followed him out of the city and about 20 mins later the moment had arrived. I jumped him and killed him and took 6 blue items and a bunch of crafting mats. he came back and I killed him again taking another 3 blue items and some consumables. Didn't see him for a few days, think hes still level 20. I sold the mats and still wear some of the items I took from him.
At lvl 27 I wanted a rfk grp but the guy leading the party didnt like me because I ganked him at low level. They bitch out and do it without me. It's all good tho, I'm waiting outside. Nothing. Bitches hearthed out instead of resetting. But I can see they are still in barrens. So I head north and find em one by one running back. He's in the back of the pack, I strike. Kill and loot the corpsemaker axe and tusk helm he had just picked up. Got away clean. The axe really improved my dmg =D
On the flip side, I have been killed and looted almost completely about 4 times so far. It happens. Hopefully ya have a secondary set in the bank but if that gets taken too, you're back to vendor armor and weapons till ya can get some new gear again.
Havent died to a in range player (+6lvls and they cannot loot you) since I killed the guy from WC tho, all that gear made me pretty strong compared to the players in quest/vendor gear.
That's all for now. Its a great fuckin game, the best wow I ever played by a long shot and way more fun than red in its current state.
