Sam Hyde has managed to market to a cohort that has completely stymied (((marketers))) and makes up a significant piece of the mid-20s demographic. Specifically his ability to market to imageboards organically and without expensive shill campaigns is pretty impressive from a moneyed business point of view. Teddy just wants a piece of that action and to have that talent on his team.
There really doesn't need to be some deeper motive than getting people who don't watch TV or spend money on anything but drugs/videogames back into the zogosphere.
