If there's something about the DUXAui you don't like, it's pretty easy to just remove it and use the default one. For example, I made a new UI files folder called "custom," copy-and-pasted the default folder from p99 files, then pasted the DUXA buffwind and playerwind or w/e files to use the buff window and hp/mana/exp window from DUXA while leaving the rest the same. Then just "/load custom" in-game to get your hybrid UI.
As for the resolution, that can be changed in game through options>display>video modes.
