Nah. Teach them to fish and quit damming up the stream is my long-term solution. People are afraid that if they are allowed to better their lives, they will become consumers and destroy the planet with global warming etc. It's just a way to control them, to keep them in poverty so they have no say in what is going on in the world. If they have power, clean water, communications, some of them might realize what's really going on and try to stop it. They have enough problematic people in the world like that
