Nobody should be saying anything re; taxes on the internet if they own property or a business(es).
We joke a lot, but the NSA does actually share data with LEO through certain LEO programs. Google DEA SOD program for just an example of warrantless data collection and investigations begun through NSA data. Its here, its real. Its not a paranoid fantasy. Taxes are something they do not mess around with. Especially when it comes to small men.

I understand there are plenty of people who extract every penny they can you taking every deduction possible, but that doesn't make it right. Just because a deduction is there, doesn't mean you
should take it. Do you need it? From the starving mouth of which government program would you pry those dollars?
I am not ashamed to declare I pay more to the IRS than is asked of me. I started by randomly removing one deduction/credit each time I filed and now just take the standard deduction. It feels good knowing the money that I spend the majority of my life working for will be put to good use combatting preventable illnesses among those who were not fortunate enough to have been blessed with the solid upbringing or common sense that I received.
