The question of HP > AC or not seems to be as old as EQ and most people seem to think that HP is better, I think somewhat because many seemed to argue AC was(is?) broken on P99?
To me it sounds logical that AC is better since it reduced damage taken during the whole fight, while getting 50 extra HP is just one hit and then its gone?

But perhaps AC is not as good as it seems and it is worth going from say 950 to 850 AC and get 200 more HP instead? Unfotunately I'm not rich enough to keep a seperate setup to test it out.
