Ok i think we're on the right track. I have titanium, and i bought the game
off ebay so i know its not that. I did however update the textures to luclin graphics i think it was, via the thread "Make EQ Look better significantly."
Looking at my directory none of the maps past the classic zones are there.
i did a back up of the textures before i updated them and in the backup folder
im seeing alot of velious and kunark textures. should i just copy and paste these ones back into the main EQ folder? its .s3d files as you said.

Yes. I think it should be enough to just copy and paste all of the files with the names of the zones (there seems to be more than one per zone - as I mentioned, trak had three, I don't know what purpose each one serves)
