I didn't like how everything could be earned through PvP. The points thing cheapened it in my opinion. There were people going out trying to die in PvP since losers also received points and you spawn with all your gear. You can earn your Epic by just running around and losing or a full group can kill their own box or farm noobs at port in.
Maybe there was some SolB pvp down the road at max level for Nagafen or something but I don't even know if anyone was still around at that point. You are stuck in classic era at level 50 but people are running around with Kunark/Velious gear they earned by losing in PvP.

Yes, lots of unemployed people can earn tickets upon death. It requires a shit ton of dying and play time, though. I mean if someone is that dedicated to earning their epic by dying a billion times. So be it. I'd rather have that than the obvious RMT usage on r99.
