Get epic, it's an item you will never replace and will help you farm another 50k for a fungi.
Also at 46 its fucking OP in places like COM for leveling so will have you soloing to 60 quicker aka more plat.
Once you see that you can dot root 4-5 mobs at a time with epic you'll laugh at why you even thought about fungi first.

I agree with the sentiment... though my chances of saving 60k by 46 were pretty slim.
